Innovage mini digital camera

This is our second choice for a good and cheap mini digital camera, other than the Vivitar. At the time of writing this text, the price is even slightly lower, at only $8.39. Who would have thought a camera would be that cheap?

This smaller-than-a-credit card gadget is powerful enough to perform all three tasks: snap stills, shoot video and act as a webcam too. A real three-in-one for only a few bucks.

The quality of the pictures isn't bad at all, considering the size of the camera. It has 16MB of memory, enough to store a few dozens of images. It's not your camera of choice for your next safari trip to Africa, but it is a great thing to have in your bag if you don't have a built-in camera in your phone. By the same token, it's just the thing for a kid to take pictures with. And hey, at under $8.50 a piece, if it gets broken or lost, it won't be too devastating.

One word of caution about the video abilities of this camera. They're not very high. Don't get this one for a kid who wants to make his or her first movie with a digital camera... it won't work. The memory card is simply too small and won't hold more than a few seconds of video at a time.
